    Charles Hilario (12th Grade)

    as Shrek

    Parents: Jenny and Max Hilario. Charles has been involved in the past six SCF shows because he enjoys music and acting. Charles says, "I've wanted to do Shrek since 7th grade, even if it wasn't Mr. G's favorite back then." Charles' past roles have included Maurice (Beauty and the Beast) and Hercule Poirot (Murder on the Orient Express).

    as Fiona

    Parents: Cara Dreilich and Rick Van Gundy. Belle has always had a love for acting and wanted to be on the stage instead of running the lights this year. This is Belle's fifth SCF drama department production. Belle's favorite memory of this production was when Tessa accidentally said, "And an Aries!" instead of "Gingerbread Man!" in the finale.

    Parents: Karen and Dani Backes. Shrek is Shane's sixth SCF production. Shane enjoyed all of the "blooper reels" during rehearsals and could not choose one favorite memory. Shane's past roles include Finch, Chiz Upschlager, Lefou, and Samuel Ratchett. Shane is involved with the musical this year because "I have always had a love for drama and wanted to continue that."

    as Lord Farquaad, Papa Ogre

    Parents: Tamantha McInnis and Edward McInnis. This is Sean's first SCF production. In addition to "all the funny improv and expressions," Sean loves "when we just throw something in for the sake of character and comedy." Sean has enjoyed the construction of the cabin and the suspension bridge.

  • Gretchen Schaffer (12th Grade) head shot

    Gretchen Schaffer (12th Grade)

    as Dragon

    Parents: Monique and David Schaffer. Gretchen has been involved with five SCF productions, including Shrek. Gretchen says, "I have always loved the experience. The sense of community and constant fun that everybody has always makes me return." Gretchen's favorite memory of this production was when Tessa created "one of the greatest bloopers" during one of the songs.
