Ms. Jackie Martin (Director) Jackie is delighted to be back directing her fourth summer musical!
She currently teaches Intermediate Science at St. Isaac Jogues School in Hinsdale. She is also the Theatre Director and Co-Director of the Broadcasting and Journalism Club at SIJ. She graduated from St. Francis in 2011 and from Loyola University Chicago in 2015 with a degree in Education (Science & Language Arts Endorsements). Jackie most recently received theatre instruction certification from iTheatrics and has worked alongside Cynthia Ripley and Marty Johnson, the program creators and primary directors for Music Theatre International (MTI). Past directorial credits include Elf the Musical (SFHS 2016), The Lion King (2017), Mary Poppins (2018), Aladdin (SIJ 2018), and Beauty and the Beast (2019). Congrats to the cast and crew!
Ms. Sami Ramos (Assistant Director/Producer) Sami is excited to be a part of Frozen JR. as a production staff member this summer. Sami is a St. Francis alumni from the class of 2011. She was very active in the music and theatre department during her years there. Because of her interest in singing, Sami went on to the University of Iowa to study Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Spanish. She is now working as a bilingual paraprofessional at the Early Childhood Center in Bloomingdale.
Ms. Gina Graffagna (Music Director) Gina is thrilled to be working on her fourth St. Francis summer musical. She also music directs the spring musical at St. Francis and maintains a private voice studio on campus. In addition to her work within the St. Francis community, Gina is on the voice faculty at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts. You can see her performing around the city as a member of Allegrezza, at Union Church of Hinsdale and in various cabaret performances. Gina is a proud member of NATS. Bravo to all of our fantastic students!
Mrs. Chris Konchel (Costume Design) Chris is excited to be working on her ninth summer show. Most recently, she has designed costumes for productions of Peter and the Starcatcher (SFHS 2018), A Christmas Carol (2018), and Big Fish (2019). When not sewing, you can find her working in our St. Francis HS Business Office as an Accountant. Wishing all the cast and crew an AMAZING show! Break a leg!
Ms. Maggie Mascari (Choreographer) Maggie is honored to have Frozen JR. as her first show as a production staff member. Maggie just recently graduated from St. Francis this year and jumped at the opportunity to choreograph her first musical after being very involved with the theatre and music department. Maggie has used her experience from years of choir, dance, cheerleading, and theatre to choreograph not only Frozen JR. but also St. Francis’ first and second Broadway Revues in 2017 and 2018. She is grateful for all the support and the chance to work with such a talented and hardworking group of people. Maggie looks forward to attending Illinois Wesleyan University in the fall to study business and continue performing. Break a leg!
Mr. Brandon Lewis (Scenery & Lights) Brandon is so excited to be part of such a wonderful team! He runs the drama program at St. Francis during the school year, and couldn’t be happier to also be a part of the amazing summer performance program! He is excited to announce that next year’s Fall play and musical are: “Just Kidding” and “We will Announce at a Later Date”! Much love and thanks to the SFHS Alum who come by to help/hang out during the summer, the campers, and my kiddos (Zoey and Riley, and #3) and amazing wife, Heather!
