Director's Note:

Welcome to SFHS Drama Club's production of The Complete History of America Abridged! By the end of this show, you will be educated on over 500 years of American history with a funny twist. There are several groups of amazing people that I need to thank. First, I would like to thank the Administration for giving me the opportunity to work on my first play at St. Francis High School; it has been a dream come true for me. I would also like to thank the Performing & Visual Arts department for being so supportive and checking to make sure I still had my sanity intact. A special thank you to my production team: Bob Mamminga, Judi Rath, Maria Klingele, Kate Doane, Michael Page, John Schuller, Brandon Lewis, and Bob Knuth - each of you lent a helping hand in a time of fear, worry, need and straight up craziness, and I am eternally grateful! Thank you to Mary Pratscher and Dan Truffa for being amazing human beings and dedicating your Saturdays to building our star spangled set when when you could have been doing literally anything else! Thank you to all parent volunteers; your help is greatly appreciated, and we could not have done this without our Drama Mamas and Papas! A very, very special thank you to my cast and crew for working so hard on this goofy rendition of American History - you are all so talented and have very bright futures ahead of you! I am so blessed to have worked with so many amazing teenagers. And finally, thank you (the wonderful person reading this) for supporting theatre and Fine Arts! - your excitement for theatre is the reason we are putting on this show! Thank you again for coming and enjoy the play!
