Frozen Jr. - May 10

St. John Vianney Regional School

 End Notes

Directing Frozen Jr. came with many challenges. I cannot pretend it was an easy or stress-free process. As this was only my co-directors and I’s second time trying to put on a production, it was definitely a learning experience for all. We somehow managed to pull together students from three different grade levels and gave it our all in getting these students to be the confident actors, actresses, and stagehands you see before you today.

I also feel the need to “shout out” particular students, who exceeded my expectations in every way, did what they needed to without complaint, and stepped up when things looked tough, even if it meant bringing extra energy or helping out with things beyond their job description.

A big thank you to these amazing individuals and my wonderful co-directors who kept me sane. Also to my past 8th grade students who took the time to assist us (at first for service hours but then because you wanted to) what an inspiration you are and an important part to this year’s production.

What you have all done in these past months has meant so much to me!

Now, on to these amazing students who made this play spectacular.

Dear 6th Grade,

Wow is all I can say for those of you who came to every practice and stayed to see this production through when it wasn’t even required of you. Thank you to those who brought your best attitudes and beautiful energy, you truly light up the stage and I can’t wait to see you grow these next few years!

Dear 7th Grade,

I am impressed with how you all handled the increased responsibilities this year brought. Many of you having been in the play the previous years meant so much to see you return and excited for the process of putting on a musical performance.

Dear 8th Grade,

Seeing you all with boosted confidence and perhaps a new love or appreciation for the stage is why I do this. I hope you all made as many good memories as I did, and thank you to those of you who really did the most you possibly could to make Frozen Jr. a success. It did not go unnoticed by me. I wish you good luck, and I hope you will consider a music theater path in high school, since so many of you have talents that should not be wasted. Know that I am rooting for your success in all your future endeavors! You will remain in my prayers always.

May God bless us and keep us. Amen.

Ms. Celeste Sukley

Director
