Jennifer Mirenda, Lead Director
As Lead Director, Jenn has set the vision for the play. She has handled theater procurement, parent and student communication, scheduling, scene blocking, choreography, overseeing costume and prop procurements. Jenn is the school's Director of the Performing Arts Program and has been involved on and off, in St. Joseph School Drama Club for the past 12 years. She has been the Lead Director for Aladdin Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr., Summer's in the Air, Mulan Jr., Fiddler on the Roof Jr., and this year's Fame Jr. Simultaneously over the past nine years Jenn ans been involved in the St. Francis High School drama program - primarily in tech. Jenn was brought up in the performing arts genre and majored in Dance from Adelphi University, NY.
Sandra Mazolewski, Vocal Director
As Vocal Director, Sandra teaches the songs, lyrics and voice projection to all performers including the voice direction and part harmony during big production choreographed numbers. Additionally, Sandra works behind the scenes during the perfomances with the sound crew insuring that the music is projected and roaming mics are on so the performers can be heard. Sandra has been the Vocal Director for St. Joseph School Drama Club for the past eleven musicals including Honk Jr., Peter Pan Jr., Annie Jr., Mulan Jr., Fiddler on the Roof Jr. Sandra was the Bellarmine College Prep Fashion Show Theatrical Chair for three years. She has taken ten years of piano lessons and has sung in numerous choirs including the Santa Clara University Choral.
Nancy Fauria, Technical Director
As Tech Director, Nancy has worked with a number of talented adults and students ensuring that the set periaktois were artistically created and illustrated. Additionally, Nancy procured all of the props and costumes for the show. Nancy has served on the Fancy Dancer's Inc. Board of Directors and was the board's president for four years. Nancy has also worked for both Bellarmine College Prep and Presentation High School holding many pivotal positions - including the costume manager for the Presentation High Competition Dance Team. Here at St. Joseph School, Nancy was the Aladdin Jr., choreographer and did makeup for that show and Mulan Jr. She joined our St. Joseph Performing Arts as the Tech Director last year. She started performing as a competitive dancer and a performer in local musical theater.
Lisa Faria, Choreographer
As Choreographer, Lisa worked creating and teaching dance numbers. In the past, Lisa managed the school's talent show, working with a vast array of talented students ranging from pianists to baton twirlers. This is Lisa's fifth show as choreographer - joining the director team with Annie, Jr., Seussical Jr., Mulan Jr., and Fiddler on the Roof Jr. Lisa studied choreography at Ohlone College and has been the St. Joseph Church Faith Formation Liturgical Dance Choreographer. She still enjoys performing in live musical theater. Lisa is a St. Joseph School Alum, class of 1967.
Katie Fauria, Choreographer
As Choreographer, Katie created and taught "Hot Lunch." Katie is a St. Joseph School Alum, class of 2008. She played "Iago" in Aladdin Jr. during her 8th grade year. From there her love of theater and dance has continued. At Presentation High she was both captain of the award-winning School Dance Team and captain of Fancy Dancers of Milpitias, a community-based dance team. Katie is currently an English major with minors in Urban Education and Dance at Santa Clara University. She performs with the Santa Clara Dance Department and the SCU Hipnotik, a hip-hop dance club on campus.
