STLFringe FEST 2022 - August 15 - August 21, 2022

St Lou Fringe

 ST Lou Fringe Moving Forward

Dear St Lou Fringe Community,

In 2011, St Lou Fringe emerged for it's second chapter of bringing independent arts to the region through an annual festival in the Grand Center Arts District.

In 2022, the Board of Directors of St Lou Fringe opened the door to next chapter of the organization. The STLFringe FEST remains our flagship program to celebrate and elelvate the independent arts across the region. We proudly have given voice to over 400+ shows in our history through our festival program. Further, we have celebrated DEAIJ long before it was a checkbox on a grant application. Finally, we have offered stages to those who have been turned away by everyone else to develop and perform the most cutting-edge works presented on any midwestern stages.

The future St Lou Fringe is bright. We will continue to execute, evolve, and grow our annual world-class STLFRINGE FEST as it is the foundational program of who we are as an organization. In this time of expansion we are also developing new art making initiatives, including: STLFringe Presents... a program showcasing St. Louis premieres like, WHITE RABBIT, RED RABBIT by Nassim Soleimanpour; the STLFringe PRIDE Series, featuring shows celebrating diversity; the STLFringe MICROTHEATRE FEST, pop-up one-day festivals across the region bringing surprise and delight to all through the magic of the independent arts; and the STLFringe Holidays On Ice Film Festival, celebrating independent art makers who are creating in the space of the holiday film.

St Lou Fringe is excited to be in this era of expansion and we welcome all of you to join us as creators, supports, and patrons. For further information on all of our programming please join our mailing list and visit our website at www.stlfringe.org.

Thank you to the eleven years of brave independent artmakers enlivenling our stages, and we look forward to the bright future ahead for us all.

With Deepest Gratitude,

Matthew
