JD Burnaman

JD is in the ninth grade at SLS and is proud to be working for the SLS tech crew. JD also performed in plays such as ONCE ON THIS ISLAND (Daniel’s son) and SPRING ONE ACTS. This is his third year of participating in the SLS tech crew and he is very excited to finally participate in upper school tech. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Rafael Castro

Technical Assistant

This is Mr. Castro’s first year at St. Luke’s. Before moving to Connecticut, he was involved both on and off stage in theatrical productions in Chicago, Washington DC and Rehoboth, Delaware. He also served as the stage crew moderator at the Friends School of Baltimore where he was responsible for the design and construction of the sets for many productions such as: MY FAIR LADY, OKLAHOMA, CRAZY FOR YOU, FUNNY GIRL, and BABES IN ARMS.
AJ Chuhta

Stagehand

AJ is in the tenth grade and this is his third year working with the tech crew. He enjoys playing video games in his free time.
John Conners

Technical Director

Mr. Conners is a 12 year veteran of the entertainment industry, having worked in theatre, television, and film as a set designer, art director, scenic artist, lighting designer, carpenter, electrician, set decorator, and props designer. Credits include: LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O’BRIAN, THE DR. OZ SHOW, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Circle in the Square), AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, and SUPERBOWL XLVII. Mr. Conners has also worked for Manhattan Theatre Club, CBS, Food Network, MTV2, Solomon Group, LaMama, The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, as well as many other production houses and scene shops. He is very excited about being at St. Luke’s and working with the next generation of production professionals.
