Dear SDYT Families and Friends,
Tomorrow is finally here…today. It seems like only yesterday that we were having auditions, and now here we are ready to take the stage. It’s been an exciting, crazy, creative, and fun rollercoaster ride. What a great experience it has been! Annie has been more than just a show, it’s been a place where kids discovered their gifts and talents, let their creativity run wild, and fall in love with the performing arts. A big thank you to the parents for letting your kids be a part of Annie. Thank you for supporting them by giving them rides, encouraging them, helping with lines and dances and helping them discover the arts. This is my first show with Stage Dreams, and I want to thank Becky for the opportunity, and all her help. I also want to give a BIG THANK-YOU to the best team ever; Meija, and Michelle. Your talents and creativity helped make this, not just a good show, but a great show! Most of all I want to thank my casts. They are a bunch of wonderful, talented, wacky, and fun kids that, I had the pleasure and joy of directing. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! Thanks for letting me come along on this on this ride with you. Annie is a great story of acceptance, love, and family, and how hearts and lives can be changed by that love and acceptance. So, I want you to turn off your cell phones, iPads, and notebooks and forget about what you have to do later tonight or tomorrow. Forget about what you have to do at work, school, or at home because tomorrow is now. I want to invite you to open up your imagination, and heart, and get ready to laugh, cry a little, tap your feet, and have a great time, as you step into the wonderful world that is….ANNIE!!!
