Sean is 14 years old and is in the 8th grade at Ideal School.  This is his second production helping behind the scenes at Standing Ovation.  He also helped in Seussical Jr.  When he is not on, or behind, stage he enjoys computers and playing sports.  Sean would also like to thank his parents for letting him help in this production.

DIRECTOR NOTES

As many of you know, this production was originally scheduled to be Camelot.  Last minute, we excitedly changed the show to Into the Woods... because I can never turn down Into the Woods! The first time I was exposed to this show was in high school and I immediately fell in love with it.  I loved the brilliance of the characters stories being entangled and intertwined until the Act I Finale of happily "...ever after!"  Then, like all happily ever afters, real life sets in and our characters work together to solve problems and create a new happy!

I've enjoyed this experience of teaching these talented kids, some of which have very limited expereince on stage.  They rose to the challenge and although there were moments of sheer panic, they are all stronger performers having performed in what just might be the hardest show they'll ever do!  I told them that their next show will be a piece of cake after Sondheim!

Thank you to my fabulous musical director, Ms. Jackie and superb choreographer, Ms. Liz.  You both exceeded my expectations!  Mr. Sean, thank you for your commitment to Standing Ovation and all the extra you put in to make this magic happen!  Ms. Andrea, you amaze me with your talent and patience!  Thank you for all you do to make the kids look great!  Olivia & Sean, you both rock!  Actors, BREAK A LEG and know that I love you each forever... and "you are not alone!"  -  Love, Ms. Erin
