Paul Anderson

Paul is excited to be a part of this Christmas Classic, and jumped at the opportunity to portray Santa! He has performed in many Steel Beam productions and locally with Independent Players, Janus Theatre, and William Street Rep. Paul studied acting at Illinois State University sometime last century and been in shows ever since.Thanks to his family for their love and continued support!  

Steve Askins

Steve Askins (Steve Rudolf) has been a a professional musician and entertainer most of his adult life. He has toured the U.S. as a solo performer and member of various ensembles. More recently he has worked mostly in the greater Chicago area. In 2019 he retired from his position as Music Director at the Unitarian Univeralist Church of Elgin where he served for almost three decades. These days he is mostly retired, though he can’t seem to avoid booking the occasional gig. Steve is delighted to be part of Steel Beam’s Miracle on 34th Street Radio Show!

Andrew Buel

Andrew is making his first appearance with Steel Beam. He is a member of Any Suggestions Improv and is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a major in Theater Performance and a minor in Music.  He has previously worked with the Disney Internship Program, Six Flags Great America, and the Museum of Science and Industry.  Andrew is thankful for the opportunity to take part in this classic Christmas story and wishes to thank his family and teachers for their inspiration and support.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 

Hailey Church

(Hailey and Ella are theatre buddies and just finished a performance of Seussical Jr. with Children's Theatre of Elgin. They are very excited to share the part of Susan Walker. Hailey is on the left in green in this picture)

Hailey is a 4th grader and this is her 4th Steel Beam show. She is also involved with Children's Theatre Of Elgin (CTE). Besides theatre, Hailey enjoys Singing, Dancing, Playing with her friends, family, dog, and Cleaning. "Shoutout to my Mom, Dad, Brady, Nana, Papa, Grandma, Grandpa, and My BFF Mya for coming to see my shows!"
