Erin Eder
Head Director
Erin Eder earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Sam Houston State University where she studied theater, dance, and music. In addition to her work in public education, Erin has been active in community theatre productions in the Houston area. She continues to educate and promote fine arts through her work as a director and choreographer. Erin is thrilled to call The Austin Playhouse her new home. With ten years in Theatre Education, she is driven to inspire young artists by instilling confidence and a spirit of ensemble with her students.

Harsa Rutherford
Technical Director
Harsa is excited to be your technical director at The Austin Playhouse. Growing up in the Richmond/Rosenberg area, she continues building a legacy where she first discovered her love for theatre. With experience and inspiration, Harsa is looking forward to building more memories and experiences at TAP. Enjoy the show!

Elizabeth Schwarz
Assistant Technical Director
Elizabeth has participated in productions at Austin High School since she was a freshman. As a junior, she is excited to explore more aspects of theatre and is looking forward to more challenging assignments as part of the production crew. Elizabeth is currently serving as the Assistant Technical Director.

Christian Lema
Student Director
Christian Lema, or just Lema, is a junior this year at Stephen F. Austin. He loves all things theatre related, especially improv! He is super excited to have a more technical role for this show and can’t wait for October 5th, 6th, and 7th!
