Jonathan Hogue
Book, Music & Lyrics
Jonathan is thrilled to be bringing to life all the delightful idiosyncrasies of his favorite Netflix obsession with Stranger Sings. Parody has been his theatrical language since 7th Grade, where he was known to perform Monty Python-inspired skits in lieu of traditional history presentations. He is a playwright, director, performer, and producer, and has collaborated on many festival productions, developmental labs, and industry readings. His play The Nations, loosely based on his experiences as a short-term aid worker in 12 countries around the world, received its virtual world-premiere in March 2021 and is slated for an upcoming LA production with Write Act Repertory. This Fall, he will be attending Columbia University to pursue his MFA in Theatre Management and Producing. Extremely grateful for his incredible team that has helped create this silly little show. Thanks to God for the richness of His goodness, and to Winona Ryder for the inspiration.
