“The Music Man” is the first stage performance for John even though he has been actively involved with Strauss Theatre and SYAA for many years. He is the husband of Crystal Matherne and the father of 9 children that have ALL performed in Strauss productions. John is one of 5 “Mathernes” in this show.

as Charlie Cowell
Playing the role of Charlie – the anvil salesman, Wade is performing in his first musical. He is married with two children. He is an active member of New Life Wesleyan Church and loves to play practical jokes. He is originally from Jonesville, LA.

Daniel Zeagler
as Ewart Dunlop
(Die Fledermaus 2013, Into the Woods 2014, Orpheus in the Underworld 2014) Member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, Daniel conducts the Greater Monroe Men's A Capella Chorus and sings in the Harmonic Engineers Quartet. Daniel is a very active member of the music scene guest performing in ULM productions like Into the Woods and Die Fledermaus. He also competes in the Barbershop Harmony Society district chorus and quartet contests where both groups place among the top ten.

Phillip Zeagler
as Oliver Hix
Making his theater debut, Phillip is no stranger to the stage being involved in music his entire life. Phillip is an excellent trombonist and a wonderful baritone singer. An active member of the Barbershop Harmony Society and the Greater Monroe Chapter. Phillip has competed in many district contests with the Noteorious Chorus and the Harmonic Engineers Quartet.

Grayson Zeagler
as Olin Britt
Grayson has been in the music business for many years, but none of them have given him the opportunity to be on a theater stage. He is a trumpet player that has played many shows as a pit player or musical director. Grayson is a veteran barbershopper with thirty plus years as the bass singer in The Noteorious Chorus and the Harmonic Engineers Quartet.
