Dan Phillips
as Marcellus Washburn
Dan is the Music Director at First United Methodist Church of West Monroe and also a band director at Good Hope Middle School. He is also an adjunct instructor in the music departments of ULM and Louisiana Tech. He has performed multiple roles in musicals and operas. The role of Marsalis is his second with the Strauss Theater, after performing as the Bishop in Les Miserables.

Originally from Oak Park, Illinois, relocated to Monroe in 2004. Member of Sweet Adelines' International, member of Monroe Symphony Chorus and member of Lea Joyner UMC Church choir. Sing in two quartets: Bayou Breeze and 4 Praising Him. This is my first acting role.

Chanley Patterson
as Amaryllis
Chanley, age 11, is a 6 grader at Cedar Creek in Ruston. She is very involved at SYAA, with her most recent role being that of Annie. She has also had roles in four productions through Ruston Community Theatre, the latest being Brigitta Von Trapp in their summer production of The Sound of Music. This is Chanley’s debut on the Strauss Little Theatre stage.

Alex Matherne
as Tommy Djlas
Alexander Matherne is 20 years old, and is currently in his Junior Year at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, majoring in Aviation. His previous Strauss productions include "Peter Pan", "Fiddler on the Roof", and "The Drowsy Chaperone."

Baylee Regan
as Zaneeta Shinn
A 14 year old, 9th grade homeschooler, Baylee has recently been seen in 9 to 5: The Musical. Her other productions include Les Miserables. Fiddler on the Roof, and The Sound of Music. She is excited to be working with this amazing cast.
