NAMI
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization that seeks to educate, advocate, and support those affected by mental illness. NAMI provides an abundance of resources to those seeking support for mental illness such as education programs for communities, support groups, as well as a toll-free helpline to directly connect individuals with free information and support. NAMI Central MA is a branch of NAMI local to Worcester that offers free, online family support groups for families.

KIVA
Kiva centers is an organization local to Central Massachusetts that offers peer-led support groups for those experiencing trauma, substance use, and emotional distress. The organization also offers certified peer specialist training for those with lived experiences who wish to provide others going through similar experiences with peer support.

Genesis Club
Genesis Club, located in Worcester, is a clubhouse fostering a strong sense of community for those experiencing serious mental illness. Genesis Club offers a wide range of programs to help rehabilitate its members, such as: education, employment, wellness, housing, young adult, and older adult programs. These programs offer support with completing or enrolling in school, finding job opportunities, maintaining healthier lifestyles, finding housing, and building friendships.

Learn to Cope
