Tom performed amateur stand-up comedy in various Los Angeles venues during the late seventies, and he has appeared in seven SCA productions put on by the Performing Arts Club and Spotlight. As this show's author, Tom is fascinated and excited to see his imagination come to life in "Charlie Sees the Light."

Ziona Friedlander
Director
Ziona started her professional career as a producer and auditor for film and TV production. PAC has given her opportunities to flex her creative muscles in directing and writing plays. She loves working with creative, energetic people who share her love for the performing arts and says that “Charlie” "gives us a wonderful opportunity to tell a sweet, inspiring story."

Paula Phelps
Assistant Director
Paula began her entertainment endeavors as a dancer with Performing Arts Club’s Anthem Jazz. She has since added acting, singing and more to her extensive PAC credits. Paula likes bringing joy to the audience but says the best part of being in PAC is the camaraderie among the cast and crew during performances, from her first play, “Visitors,” to “Charlie Sees the Light!”

Norene Collins
Prod. Mngr., Audio/Visual Operator
Theater has been Norene’s passion since junior high as an actor and dancer. She’s now moved behind the scenes on several Performing Arts Club shows as director, assistant dir., prod. manager or running music/sound effects. Norene appreciates the playwright’s song choices and “Charlie’s” interesting storyline, and she has enjoyed working with director, Ziona Friedlander.
