Dracula - November 17

Sunrise Mountain High School

NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR

I am extremely proud of the kids who gave all their time and energy into making this production a success.  This is my first year at Sunrise Mountain High School, and I had no clue what I was coming into.  Little did I know that I'd have so much talent and hard work in the students of this school, more than I've seen at past schools.  I am thankful to each and every person who agreed to be a part of Dracula.  If anything, this gives me the confidence and drive to make sure our next production, Heathers the Musical - Teen Edition, the absolute best musical this school has ever seen.

Parents - we really do want to involve you more in our future productions.  To help offset costs for productions, we have opened up our Playbills to include advertisements. So please, if you ever want to advertise a business, or send congratulations or good luck to your student in the play, please let your student know to talk to me so I can reach out and get your advertisement into our program for a low cost.  It's through you that we can keep doing these big productions, so your help is invaluable to us!

I absolutely love horror films, and this was a dream to produce.  This is my very first production, so it was important to me that the kids had a blast and want to continue working with the Theatre program.  Thank you everyone for allowing me to do something I've always wanted to do, parents for allowing your kids to be a part of such a great program, and I look forward to helping our school put out some quality content in the coming years.
