Daisy Pulls It Off - March 28 - March 30, 2018

Sunscreen Theatricals

 End Notes

A Note From Our Director

The lights went down, the audience was quiet, as I peeped my head through the school curtain for one last time, the lines were running through my head before I went on. Then that was it, Daisy was onstage.

I was 12 years old when I played Daisy. Georgie played Trixie and Melissa played Sybil. I remember it like it was yesterday. So for nearly 25 years I have wanted to direct this show. It has stuck with me and influenced many of my decisions from theatre director to film director.

These last few weeks of rehearsals have been tremendous fun with a totally dedicated cast, that believed in and tried my crazy ideas.

I want to share the unique “Britishness” of our school system with you. I want to give the audience a taste of what it’s like to be a British school girl at Boarding School.

Thank you for supporting local theatre. Thankyou for taking part in this wonderful play. If you enjoy it tonight, please tell your friends about it. We want bottoms on seats!
