Supporting Act Productions

 Acknowledgements

EL PASO is a production near and dear to our hearts, and we would like to acknowledge all of the people that made it possible:

A big thank you and acknowledgement to the Zephyr Theater and the team, especially the Zephyr manager, Amber Bruegel, who was so patient, understanding, and helpful throughout the process. This is our team's first Fringe and without Amber's continual patience and openness through the process, we couldn't have made the transition from script to stage and all the steps involved in between. The Zephyr and its whole team has been instrumental to our success.

Thank you to Nick, our lighting deisgner and theater tech. Nick, you truly brought new life to the vision of EL PASO, interpreting qualitative notes into beautiful lights. Thank you for your creativity, quick on the go execution, and for being so patient and generous with us. You are incredible, and we are so happy to have you on the team.

We would like to thank and acknowledge Damian Alonso who believed in the project from the very beginning and embodied the role of Humberto Escajeda for our first official table read of EL PASO. You were an absolutely beautiful Humberto. Your passion for EL PASO and Humberto was so palpable and important for us. Thank you. We are so happy to have you on the official playbill originating the role of Marcos, Humberto's friend.

The Interlude, the one filmed portion of the play, was filmed by our producer Katherine Espin and directed and edited by Desiree Marisol Carcamo. As written in the cast credits, the Newscaster was originated by our producer and sound designer, Ryyan Dewan.

With incredible excitement, we would like to thank and acknowledge Gabriel Rojas, our featured artist. Four of Gabriel's pre-existing art pieces were used in the course of the play, projected during Yesenia's monologue, where Yesenia discusses her artwork with her professor. The pieces used were as follows: Amerikkkan Drugs (2017); Europeas de mexico (2017); Backyard Chillin (2017); Bella & Kana's Modeling Career (me veo como Linda Evangelista). Thank you Gabriel for letting us use your beautiful art and truly elevating the project.

Regarding the voiceovers: We would like to extend a thank you to the family and friends who lent their voices to the play, although they themselves are not actors. Thank you Gian Carlo Gomez for breathing life into Raul Escajeda and the Television Announcer. Thank you Alexander Flores for breathing life into Walmart Employee and Francisco. Thank you to Elizabeth Flores for lending your voice to the Walmart Customers.
