Grace Kinstler

as Tracy Turnblad

Grace is thrilled to be making her debut with Surging Films & Theatrics reprising the role of Tracy Turnblad in "Hairspray". She has made appearances in shows such as "Joseph" as Narrator, "Tarzan" as Kala, as well as singing the national anthem at the Chicago White Sox game this past April.
Gabi Knoepfle

as Penny Pingleton

Gabi is thrilled to be back in the saddle shoes and playing Penny once again! Gabi is a 2013 graduate of Indiana University’s Dept. of Theatre and Drama. She would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support, and the cast for being absolutely amazing! Enjoy the 60’s!!
Billy Surges

as Corny Collins/Director

Billy, the owner of Surging Films & Theatrics, is very excited to share this production with you all. A graduate of Elmhurst College, he has been working in the entertainment business since 2011. Favorite roles include Mark in RENT, Sweeney in Sweeney Todd, and Melchior in Spring Awakening. He thanks his parents, Katie, family, and friends for all their support with SF&T. www.surgingfilms.com

Tony is delighted to be making his debut with Surging Films & Theatrics. Favorite credits include THE ODD COUPLE and IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE with GLENBARD NORTH HIGH SCHOOL. Tony makes short films with his brother at youtube.com/tonytj7. He also is the music director for the Carol Stream Park District theatre program.
Jake Lange

as Wilbur Turnblad

Jake is thrilled to be performing for the first time with SF&T! He will also be performing in the group's next production, The Sparrow, this fall. A veteran of the theatre departments of Augustana College in Rock Island, IL & Cary-Grove High School in Cary, IL, Jake has also performed in Chicago. Recently @ The Rhino Theatre Fest in Realize Theatre Group's production of America, Inc. as The Boss.
