Sara Beth Samuels
Artistic Director
Sara Beth is absolutely thrilled to be making her artistic directorial debut in Spring Awakening! She is a senior at Lanier High School, and has been in numerous productions there, as well as several BIP productions. She wants to thank her parents for the ridiculous amount of support, SPA for the opportunity to share her vision and message, Becca and the wonderful creative team that's made all of this come to life, this beautiful and talented cast, and Jack for making her believe she could actually make this happen. Love your light, and make your dreams happen.

Rebecca J. Martell
Director
Rebecca is a 2015 graduate of Brenau University where she received her BA in Theater with The Gainesville Theater Alliance. She has worked for Suwanee Performing Arts since 2015 serving as Director for both The Community Art Players of Suwanee and The Actor's Company Improvisation Troupe. Previous directing credits with CAPS include Into the Woods Jr., Almost Maine, and Tarzan the Musical. Becca is absolutely thrilled to be tackling such beautiful and thought provoking material with such a passionate and talented team. Many thanks to Sara Beth for having a vision and a passion for storytelling and human beings. And for having the guts to tackle a full length musical as her first directing project! I am so incredibly proud of you! Thanks also to Patty and Bernie for being the best bosses ever and the whole SPA and SAA team. We can't do what we do without you! Joshua Lewis
Choreographer
Joshua’s start in musical theater eventually led him to begin dance classes where he quickly fell in love with the art of dance. Joshua trained vigorously in classical ballet, jazz, and modern dance techniques. He went on to perform in dozens of ballets throughout the Southeast as well as performing in musicals like Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, and Footloose. Currently, Joshua works as a dance teacher and choreographer and is thrilled to be working with Suwanee Performing Arts on Spring Awakening!
