T.J. Elder Middle School Drama

 End Notes

Note from the Director:

Wow. That is truly the only word that comes to mind when I think of all of the love and support I have received in this first year of teaching/directing. I have been so incredibly blessed to have had such a wonderful support system, cast, crew, and community. A few special thank yous are in order:

  • To Dr. Edmond, Mr. May, Administrators, and my fellow teachers: Thank you for believing in me and supporting me. You all have welcomed me into the profession with open arms and open ears.  Washington County is truly the BEST school system to be a part of. I am so proud to be a Hawk.

  • To Mrs. Brown, the Price family, and Mrs. Mullis: You encouraged me, pushed me past my comfort zones, and never let me give up on my dreams. You opened so many doors for me. Thank you for the countless moments of advice, support, and love. Thank you for helping to make my dreams come true.

  • Mr. Shane Hart: I can never ever repay you for the hours you spent helping me build and bring my set vision to life! You were a life-saver to me! Thank you so much!

  • To Rodrich, Grady, Caleb, and Sydney: I couldn't have asked for better role models for these kids. You have been so patient, gracious, and inspirational. I pray that these kids become half of the actors/actresses and young men and women that you are. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

  • To my family and friends: I don't know how I could have gotten through this without you. You all have listened to my meltdowns, been there through the success, and supported me unconditionally. Mom and Dad especially, I can't thank you enough. I love you.

  • To my 8th graders: I am so proud of you. I have watched you grow the past year into exceptional young men and women. As much as I will miss you, I will be beaming with pride watching you take over the WCHS stage. Congratulations.
