A Tale of Two Cities - March 23 - March 25, 2023

Tamaqua Area High School

 Acknowledgements

Ruth: I can't begin to thank you for the amount of work you put into each and every set. You go above and beyond each show to make sure that every little detail is correct, that every prop is just right, and that we have all the little extras that make our shows authentic. Your dedication and all the time you put in is truly appreciated by everyone, and especially by me. Thank you for always supporting all of my nutty ideas whole-heartedly and for always agreeing to try to make all my ridiculous requests a reality. You are a true friend.

Colleen: Thank you for being a rock throughout this production. I love the choreography (my favorite dance is "Everything Stays the Same"), and I am truly so grateful to you for accepting this position and for always being here for me no matter what I need. Your friendship over the years has been a constant source of support for me, and I hope you know how appreciated you are.

Mom: I don't know what I would do without you. This production, in particular, the costumes have been a tremendous undertaking, and you have willingly donated your time to work alone in the loft trying to make sense of the disarray. So grateful for our teamwork and shared vision. Thank you also for keeping me on track and for constantly reminding me what still needs to be ordered. The costumes look great, and I have you to thank. Also, thank you for your never-ending support and reassurance.

Johanna: Thank you for all of your hard work to make the ticket sales and fundraisers run so smoothly this year. I appreciate your willingness to jump in and help with anything I need. Thank you for all you do.

Ang (and the other booster members): Thank you for accepting the role of Booster President again this year and for organizing all of our fundraisers. Your monetary support because of these fundraisers has been tremendously important to our club and allows us to continue to grow and better ourselves.

Greg: I am forever grateful you agree to do the sound for all of our productions. You are an important emotional crutch for me in the sound booth, and I couldn't imagine putting on a production without you there. Thanks for all the memories we've shared, and I look forward to all those still to come.

Kipp: Thank you for your beautiful lighting design and for caring so much about making my vision a reality. Your work has helped to take a large burden off of my shoulders, and I am forever grateful for that. I enjoy our showtime banter in the booth. Thanks for always playing it cool, even when things are crazy on that headset. You never let me know!

Randa: I am grateful every day that you are a part of this staff. Thank you for the many hours you have spent working on all of our productions this year. I admire how you are willing to go above and beyond for any student who asks for help--often staying hours after a rehearsal to help someone improve their vocal performance. The students love you for your dedication, and so do I.

To my seniors, Katie, Kyra, Brooke, Andrew, Mason, Helen, Gracie, Megan, Grace, Jonathan, and Anna: I cannot begin to thank you enough for the dedication and commitment you have shown to this club over the years. You have been cornerstones in our program and have helped to keep it afloat and moving forward through the past several difficult years. Thanks to you, we have made it successfully to the other side of it all. I will always be grateful to each and every one of you for that determination and loyalty. I have been blessed to watch each of you grow and transform into amazing performers, leaders and role models for our underclassmen, and, most importantly, wonderfully kind and supportive human beings. All of us have had our lives enriched by knowing you. We all wish you nothing but the absolute best in your futures. Certainly, you will go on to positively impact the lives of others as you have done here. Thank you for sharing your many gifts with us throughout the years. You will be terribly missed by all of us. Thank you to each and every one of you.

All of my appreciation, Mrs. Drum
