Join Tapestry Players for this perennial Holiday Treat. Adapted from the Frank Capra classic by Steve McCurdy, this version finds us at WSTL in New York City. The actors and studio audience are excitedly awaiting the arrival of Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore to reprise their movie performances LIVE on the WSTL stage when a telegram arrives revealing that the train on which the cast was traveling is stuck in Philadelphia.
Scrambling in the spirit of THE SHOW MUST GO ON, the radio station team recruits audience members and actors from a prior show to fill in and deliver Christmas! And we're on the air in TWO MINUTES.
