A San Antonio native whose passion for acting comes from the love of her city’s culture and musical theater. She aspires to be an educator, wanting to give back to the communities that helped mold her. She attends San Antonio College after 20 years of gaining life experience, where she will earn her Associate of Arts with the hope and faith that she will transfer to Texas State in San Marcos, TX, obtain her Bachelor of Arts, and one day her Master of Fine Arts. Special thanks to Tina Sanchez, Jennifer Guajardo, and the Flores Family for never letting her give up on her dreams! SI SE PUEDE!

Madissyn Zapata
Stage Manager
Madissyn Zapata is delighted to return to Teatro Audaz for a second season as the Resident Stage Manager, with “Luchadora!” her 6th production. While stage managing, she is also the standy for the role of Lupita. Born in Houston and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Madissyn has always been involved with the Fine Arts, continuing well into high school with Taft Theatre. Graduated from Communications Arts High School in 2021 and is currently enrolled in Northwest Vista College; she joined the Teatro Family with their musical production of “Mariachi Girl” in the spring of 2022. Madissyn would like to thank Teatro Audaz for the opportunity to aid in telling this story and her friends and family for their patience and for supporting her in her artistic endeavors.
