  • Laura T. Garza head shot

    Laura T. Garza

    Executive Artistic Director/Director

    Laura T. Garza is the Artistic Director at San Antonio College, and Executive Artistic Director of Teatro Audaz San Antonio. She holds an MFA in Directing from Texas State University, a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of the Incarnate Word, and an AA in Drama from San Antonio College, with training from The Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

    A theatre educator and director for over 13 years, she was part of the Taft High School team that won the 2021 6A UIL OAP State Championship. Her work has earned 36 ATAC Award as an actress, director and producer, and 22 Broadway World Awards, including Best Director of a Play and Musical in 2024. She has directed for Teatro Audaz, San Antonio College, The Public Theater of San Antonio, The Magik Theatre, The Overtime Theatre, and The Kennedy Center. She is passionate about storytelling and uplifting marginalized voices while shaping San Antonio’s theatre community. IG: @theltgarza

    Jillian Campos

    Associate Director/Sound Design

    Jillian Campos is excited to return as associate director and sound designer for Teatro Audaz! Jillian went to Texas State University and received her BFA in Theatre with a teaching certification. She is currently the technical director at Southwest High School in SWISD in San Antonio, Texas. Her previous sound design credits include: The Ghosts of Lote Bravo (Teatro Audaz), Luchadora! (Teatro Audaz). Her previous professional directing credits include: Associate Director Bad Hombres and Good Wives (Teatro Audaz). She would like to thank her family for all their support and her students who remind her everyday to continue to grow and learn to be the best she can be!

    Liam Meister

    Production Manager/Assistant Technical Director

    Liam Meister is a current Sophomore at the University of Michigan and is the lucky recipient of the Bexar County Summer Arts Internship grant, which enables his work through this amazing organization.
