Teatro Scholars 2022
A new scholarship program by Teatro San Diego for young students in San Diego County grades 6-12 pursuing excellence in the arts. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide students an opportunity to work in a professional environment in the industry of musical theatre. This year's production will be directed by Chadae Nichol formerly from Broadway's Motown and will have costumes designed by Bones Jones from Project Runway. To qualify students must have a 2.5 GPA and a verbal or written recommendation from an instructor at their educational institution. Students selected are required to attend rehearsal and performing schedules of the selected show for Teatro San Diego's season. This year’s scholars are the inaugural class of Teatro Scholars!
