The winter solstice has marked a time of gathering and ritual festivity for countless cultures across thousands of years. The Ultimate Christmas Show is an homage to the joy, chaos, community, and hilarity that frequently ensue when people come together in celebration.
Co-Directors, Kate and Robin, would like to express their sincere gratitude to Adobe Rose founders, Maureen and Bruce McKenna, for establishing a world-class theater venue here in Santa Fe, and to our amazing production team for their tireless work on this technically complex show. We also express our deepest appreciation to the performers, Dylan, Koppany, and Mariah, for the energy, dedication, and boundless generosity of spirit they have brought to this production. The madcap, anything-for-a-laugh, irreverent abandon of vaudeville has remained alive and well throughout our rehearsal process. We invite our audience into this divine madness to remind ourselves that even as the calendar winds its way into the darkest time of the year, the human capacity for laughter, joy, and community remains unlimited.
