Melissa Chambers

Director

Melissa began acting at age 11 at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. She graduated from The National Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in D.C. and attended the American Academy in New York. Before returning to her beloved New Mexico in 2009, she started and directed the theatre program at Edison State College in Punta Gorda, Florida. She is a veteran stage actress who has acted in over 40 plays.

Melissa is also a SAG actor and appeared in Longmire and The Nightshift. She was a series regular on Season 2 on the tv show Graves as Lucinda Raines. She worked with Cybill Shepard in her recent film, Rose, which was shown at the 2018 Cannes Film Market this season.

Jennifer Graves

Assistant Director

Jennifer’s career in Regional theatre and TV in New York City included several years on ABC’s All My Children. She’s performed at the Santa Fe Playhouse most recently in Talking With and in several of the Benchwarmers, Other People’s Money, The Madwoman of Chaillot and In the Next Room, or the Vibrator Play”. Jennifer played Lady Gonzala in The Tempest at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden this past summer and can be seen as Mrs. Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor this summer in Albuquerque.

Gene Mederos

Set Designer

Born in Cuba and raised in Brooklyn, Gene Mederos obtained his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from the University of Miami. Gene has designed and built sets for theatrical productions and events in Miami, NYC, and Santa Fe. His artwork has been shown in Miami, Tampa, and NYC. Currently, Gene is a filmmaker and animator living and working in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He teaches post production at the Santa Fe Community College and is the Chair of the New Mexico Film Resource, a nonprofit dedicated to creating film jobs for film students in New Mexico.
