Jo Ann Cimato

Production Director

staff, is proud to mark B'DAT #42 with Godspell. Cimato holds a BFA from Boston U and a Masters from NYU. Wild that she's  been directing plays for over 30 years - 21 of them at Beacon! Creating with B'DAT is her favorite thing to do. Music is Love. Everything is Music. Everything is Love. For Brian. 

David Brune

Technical Director

has been supervising technical and design students since 2013. A scenic designer and director David has decades of magic under his belt. A master puppeteer and mask maker, David teaches design, carpentry, dramaturgy and POETRY. David can often be found listening to classical music boppin around the shop.

Jeremy Jacobs

Music Director

teaching artist, Selected credits include 3 Summer of Lincoln (LaJolla), Jersey Boys, Always... Patsy Cline (STAGES St. Louis), Driven (54Below), Noise (The Tank), and A Year With Frog And Toad (Piknik Theatre). Jeremy is also an active teaching artist with companies like TADA! Youth Theatre, A Class Act, and Piknik Theatre and the choral/music director of The Beacon School. BM: Music Direction for Musical Theatre (Webster University).

Caleb McCarrol

Assistant Music Director

A proud graduate of the Music Direction for Musical Theatre program at Webster University, he is known for infusing the worlds of art music and musical theatre into the folk and pop music scenes and vice versa. McCarroll is very happy to work with the students and staff at the Beacon. In his free time, Caleb obsesses over situational comedy, becoming a polyglot, and Fornés.
