A Note form the Director
This is a miracle show really. I don't think I need to remind everyone of the past two years of our lives, but - we originally started planning, casting, and rehearsing this show in the fall of 2019. Then the COVID-19 pandemic threw all of our lives and plans and work into a tailspin. For theater, and for humans in general, the devastating fact that we could not be in the same room to create and play has definitely taken a toll on us. Without in-person performances, The Cannon Theatre needed to close down our previous location and find a new home in a new space. It has been a huge undertaking, and quite the emotional roller coaster. But here we are, a Phoenix rising from the ashes, in a new theater and on a new stage, with about half of our original cast, and some really incredible new kids. This theater and our production team pride ourselves on providing a safe space for learning, growing and creating. I am so proud to be able to be back, working together in the same room, creating art with these amazingly talented humans. We have finally gotten our golden ticket and have won our tour through the chocolate factory.
Enjoy the sweet magic!

Director
We could never have made the journey
without the help of our wonderful community!
Special thanks go to:
- David Foster, Rory Schadler, Steven Kaye, Neil MacIntyre, John Lynch, Michael Govang, Chris Cooper (and others we may have missed here simply due to timing!) for pitching in during the crazy last weeks of the theater build
- The Hilton Garden in the Devens Complex, for providing extra rehearsal space when this show and the next overlapped
