I would like to start by thanking the incredible cast and production crew for the unbelievable amount of hard work and dedication it took to prepare for the show you are about to see.  As I described my vision for the production at the first read through, I could see the excitement in their eyes, and it hasn’t gone out yet. I cannot wait until you see the energy and “life” they bring to this challenging piece. 

Now, If you were expecting a director’s note filled with long winded commentaries on the hierarchy of social injustices, love at first sight is real, or how humans are gluttonous creatures, who are followers like sheep being led to slaughter, blah, blah, blah. Nope, that is not going to happen today! Instead take a minute, run out to the lobby grab a candy bar or some chips, come back to your seats, fasten your seatbelts and hold on to your ghost story loving heart because, BOY, do we have tale for you. This is Sweeney Todd and you never know who is going to be next!
