Lauren Case
as Rona Lisa Peretti (both teams)
Lauren Case is thrilled to be a part of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee cast. She is a rising senior studying vocal performance and neuroscience at the Eastman School of Music and the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. While she is currently studying opera, musical theatre has always held a special place in her heart. Some of her favorite previous productions have included The Sound of Music(Mother Abbess), Ragtime (Ensemble), and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Ensemble). She has also worked as assistant music director for productions of Moana Jr. and Aladdin Jr. Most recently, Lauren had the opportunity to perform in her first operatic song cycle “The Journey Towards Freedom” where she worked with contemporary composer Ben Moore. She would like to thank Leslie and the entire cast and crew for making Spelling Bee such a fun and exciting experience.

Angelis is pumped to participate in this production alongside an amazing cast! She’s been in over 30 shows, ranging from Jojo in Seussical to Diana Morales in A Chorus Line! Angelis would like to thank Leslie Berra for this opportunity and her amazing directing skills!! Enjoy the show!!

Albert Igbinigie
as William Barfee` (Team W)
ALBERT IGBINIGIE (Barfee) is a recent graduate of McGavock High School and will be attending Texas State University in the Fall. This is his second chance to play Barfee after the postponement of the show last summer and he is very excited. You may have also seen him at Street Theatre in Spring Awakening, Zombie Prom, and Be More Chill. This being one of his last shows before college, he could not be more thrilled to be performing with such an amazing cast!
