The Stevie LaDue Firefighters Foundation, along with the staff and cast of The Heather Theatre, wish to pay tribute to the 412 firefighters, law enforcement officers and emergency service personnel who lost their lives in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. We also hold in our hearts their families and loved ones.
Every year, there are the stories of First Responders who give their lives in the line of duty or as a result of the trauma they have faced in service. We are forever indebted to them. Tonight we pause to honor them and offer our condolences and appreciation to their families.
We thank the tens of thousands of firefighters, law enforcement officers, and emergency medical service personnel who risk their lives daily in service to our community are all around us. We know that as others run from danger or fires, first responders run to them. May we all be quick to go up to them and thank them for their service!
