    Ashley Cooper

    Director

    Ashley is an actress turned director hailing from New Mexico. Her favorite acting credits include JO in Little Women, JEN in The Cake (Stageworks Theatre), and CLAUDIA in Abilene (feature film). She recently completed her Masters of Directing from the Chicago Conservatory of Performing Arts. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she has enjoyed working on it!

    Technical Direction/Lighting Design

    Blake Minor has been a part of the world of theatre in some capacity for over 30 years. He is very excited to be in his second year at Cooper and his thirteenth year in education. Go Dragons!

  • Rae Moses head shot

    Rae Moses

    Music Director

    Rae Moses is so excited to share the music of Beauty and the Beast with the audience. Prior to his tenure at TJCS, Rae served as the Vocal/Choral Editor for Carl Fischer Music and BriLee Music (New York City). He studied piano at TCU and Dr. John Paul at Sam Houston State University. He received his Masters degree in Conducting under reowned Dr. B.R. Henson.

  • Mieka Phillips head shot

    Mieka Phillips

    Choreographer

    Mieka studied French, English and Dance at Texas A&M and received her Masters in French Literature at Boston College. She is a trained dancer who loves to choreograph in all styles. She works with high school dance and theater groups, as well as with actors in the community. Some of her recent work includes Mary Poppins, Newsies, Grease and Footloose.

    Laura Targett

    Costume Direction

    Laura Targett has been involved in technical theatre for over 40 years, in three different countries. As Cooper’s full time Costume Manager, she designs,  builds and organizes costumes for the large variety of shows that grace the Glenn Performing Arts stage or Black Box theatre,  from Kindergarten to Upper School students, including band and choir performances. She is delighted to be involved in bringing the beloved story of Beauty and the Beast alive through the extensive costuming of this vibrant show.
