Like so many people, my earliest memories of reading came by sounding out the silly rhyming words to Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and many others. It’s not a stretch to say Dr. Seuss was one of my first teachers in how to tell a story. I am forever grateful for the lessons I learned reading his books and am also so happy to be able to share these stories with our Missing Piece audience. It is such a privilege and an honor to tell stories to audiences. Their power and impact connect us as only live performance can and reminds me why theatre is vital and necessary now and forever.
A story of this magnitude requires many people to help tell it. I am so lucky to have this wonderful cast of actors and our extraordinary production/crew team to help me bring this story to life. Every one of them volunteers their time, their talent, and their limitless energy to create this production for you. I am indebted to these amazing artists and will forever cherish the time I got to spend with them.
And lastly, thank you to everyone who is reading this. Theatre is nothing without an audience. You are the final piece of this puzzle we have been building for you. You have helped to extend the tradition and potency of live storytelling, that unmatched experience when we gather and share something together. Now get ready, because we have a fantastic story to tell you. Thank you for coming - You are The Missing Piece!
