Amy Haley
Ms. Haley studied ballet and character dance with Yvonne Mounsey and Rosemary Valaire at Westside Ballet, Los Angeles, CA. She trained with Pennsylvania Ballet, Ballet West, Joffrey Ballet, and David Howard in NYC. She performed with Los Angeles Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and Princeton University’s Atelier and Expressions Dance.
Ms. Haley studies pedagogy with The Royal Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She is an ABT® Certified Teacher who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. She teaches technique, pointe, character dance, and conditioning at iDANCE.
Ms. Haley directs children’s story ballets and coaches dancers for Youth American Grand Prix. Her students are accepted to train at ABT, Boston Ballet, CPYB, Joffrey Ballet, Kaatsbaan, UNCSA, and Miami City Ballet.
In 2021, Ms. Haley became Director of The Movement Ballet.
