Daniel Malone

as Benny Benjamin

Daniel loves comedy and is an avid joke-teller. He is thrilled to be back with Teresa and crew! This is his second appearance with The Playgroup and he recently appeared at the Delray Beach Playhouse. A former wrestler and model, Daniel placed at the AMTC for sit-com, soap-opera and runway competition. He loves to travel and enjoys golf, movies and martial arts.
Elli Murray

as Miriam Benjamin

Elli has appeared in over 40 plays, musicals, and improv/murder mystery/comedy wedding shows. Favorite roles include Mary From Door To Door, Daisy Driving Miss Daisy, Sonia Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Nettie The Subject Was Roses, Mrs. Boyle Mousetrap, Bessie Marvin’s Room, Ouiser Steel Magnolias, Aggravain Once Upon a Mattress, Adult Woman Spring Awakening, Mrs. Strakosh Funny Girl, and Dolly Annie Get Your Gun. Her next role will be Mrs. Braddock in The Graduate at Empire Stage directed by Tony-nominated Michael Leeds.
Megan Zorrilla

as Reena Benjamin

Megan is a Miami actress who recently graduated with a BFA in acting from Florida International University. She has performed in the One-Minute Play Festival and, most recently, in Orchestra Miami’s production of Mozart’s Magnificent Voyage. Megan is currently working with City Theatre on Short Cuts school tour.
JC Gutierrez

as Frankie Italiani

JC is an actor, writer, director, and middle school teacher who received a Bachelor of The Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from Florida International University at the end of July. He has been involved in the theatre for the last 10 years. Aside from his performances in college plays, professional credits include performances at Micro Theater, Seminole Theater, One Minute Play Festival, and Artistic Vibes. He has been featured in studio films and independent films and has written and directed two short films and a music video. He is excited about his performance in Murder at The Butcher's with other FIU alumni, and is looking forward to performing a one-person show based on local activist artist Xavier Cortada in March, 2020 at Pinecrest Gardens.
