Mary Jo Springer

This is Mrs. Springer's 39th time in the Director chair- and she still enjoys it as much as the first time. She is grateful beyond measure that TSSYT has survived this past year. She feels blessed to have the best job in the world. Thank you for being here and please enjoy the show!

Tessa Cadieux Petrie
Choreographer
This is Tessa's 9th show at The Springer Studio Youth Theater. She is so excited to be here. Choreographic credits include: 'West Side Story,' 'Little Shop of Horrors,' 'Matilda,' 'Newsies','Seussical,' and 'Grease.' She would like to thank Mrs. Springer for her trust, the cast for their hard work, and her family for their support.

Sara Bernat
Assistant Choreographer
Sara is excited to help with her 5th show at The Springer Studio. This is her 2nd time assisting Miss Tessa with choreography. Some of Sara's favorite previous shows include 'Grease' (Rizzo), 'Seussical' (Sour Kangaroo), 'Newsies' (Finch), 'Oklahoma' (Dream Laurey), and 'Annie' (Miss Hannigan). She would love to thank Mrs. Springer and Tessa for giving her this opporunity.

Jacob Springer
Assistant Music Director
Jacob is a rising junior Music Ed major with a concentration in trumpet. He is enjoying being the Asst. Music Director at TSSYT this summer. Jacob is no stranger to the theater with past favorite shows including 'Beauty and the Beast Jr.' (Lefou), 'Shrek Jr.' (Shrek), 'Sister Act' (Curtis), 'Oklahoma!' (Ali Hakim), and 'Les Misérables' (Jean Valjean).

Madi Frederick
Costume Designer
Madi is a rising senior at JMU, where she is majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. This is her third summer helping at TSSYT, her previous shows including 'Freaky Friday,' 'Peter Pan,' 'Newsies,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' and 'Grease.' She has loved working with these kids and would like to thank Mrs. Springer for this opportunity.
