  • Scott Alward head shot

    Scott Alward

as Max Bialystock - Scott is thrilled to be back on the stage with Streetcar. Some of his past roles include Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde in Jekyll & Hyde, Gaston in Beauty & The Beast and Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. “There is more to the Streetcar Company than simply providing top notch theatrical productions for the Lakes Region, there is a sense of community and belonging. Everyone is welcome here, and I’ve seen people’s lives changed for the better thanks to their association with this group. We’re not just a community organization, we’re a family, and I’m grateful to be able to share the stage once more with that family. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my life because of the Streetcar Company. To paraphrase another great Broadway production, ‘Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.’” Please enjoy the show!

  • Tom Getchell-Lacey head shot

    Tom Getchell-Lacey

as Franz Liebkind - Tom is thrilled to be coming out of retirement to perform in his first Streetcar production, especially since his last theatrical performance was as a “Gentleman of Japan” in his middle school’s production of “The Mikado.” He is particularly excited to be sharing the stage with his daughter, Emily. When Tom isn’t wowing audiences on the stage, he has a regular gig preaching to the congregation of the First United Methodist Church of Gilford (aka The Church of the Flying Diaper), where he serves as pastor. Tom also likes to play guitar, read, and travel, and wishes to thank his wife, Wendy, and his children, Danny and Emily, for all their love and support.
