    Berkeley Courtney-Moore

    as Matilda Wormwood

Berkeley is 10 and has been dreaming about being in ‘Matilda’ since she saw it on Broadway three years ago! She was last seen at TST as Randy Parker in ‘A Christmas Story the Musical’ and John Bechdel in ‘Fun Home’. Other favorite stage credits: Jojo in ‘Seussical’ (Praeclara), Mush in ‘Newsies’ (ACT), Michael Banks in ‘Mary Poppins’ and Helen Keller in ‘The Miracle Worker’ (The Royal), and ‘Macbeth’ (TheRep). You can see Berkeley as Jane Banks in ‘Mary Poppins’ at Murry’s Dinner Playhouse later this summer. Film/TV credits: God’s Not Dead 3; HBO’s True Detective 3. Berkeley thanks Justin for believing in her and for this incredible opportunity to work with such a talented cast and crew. Also a big thank you to Bridget, Angela, Anna, her big sister, Brooklyn, and her mom and dad for everything!  She hopes everyone leaves loving “Matilda the Musical” as much as she does!

  • Duane Jackson head shot

    Marcia Brown

    as Jennifer Honey

Like Miss Honey, Marcia Brown is also a teacher. She just completed her 16th year teaching elementary music. She is honored to be back at The Studio. Previous Studio shows include, James and the Giant Peach (Ladybug) and A Christmas Story (Mother Parker). She thanks her family, friends, and Grace Church for their unwavering support. She would also like to thank Justin for the privilege to be a part of this beloved musical and to the cast and crew, especially the children, for all they have taught her! Marcia would like to dedicate this performance to the memory of her daddy.
