About This Performance

This reading of Company is the culmination of The Theatre Lab's new Advanced Musical Theatre Intensive (AMTI), an exhilarating 5-day program designed for college students and recent graduates, older teens with significant musical theatre experience, and alums of our award-winning summer programs. This program is directed by Theatre Lab Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director Buzz Mauro.

The Theatre Lab

For over 30 years, The Theatre Lab has provided the Washington D.C. metro area with award-winning theatre education. We are the largest independent drama school in the DMV area, with classes for students of all ages and experiences in acting, musical theatre, playwriting, TV, film, voiceover, and much more.

We are committed to (1) using theatre education to create a community of inclusion and belonging, especially for our region's most vulnerable, and (2) developing a next generation of artists who are prepared to tell stories that speak to our shared humanity. Each year, we offer need-based scholarships to young people, removing systemic financial barriers to arts participation, and teach hundreds of people to create original works of dramatic art based on their lived experiences.
