THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE is only THE TROUPE's second full production, and we are so grateful to The Warner Grand and Ocean View Baptist Church for supporting this opportunity! Thank you to all the students, parents and volunteers who made this a reality! (Extra special thanks to Caroline Skubik!!)
I began THE TROUPE one year ago, in the hopes of creating a safe and inspiring environment for young artists, all while providing quality training at extremely affordable rates. I am amazed and overwhelmed at how much we have grown over the past year, and am so grateful for the talented and hard working students that have come our way. We have so many exciting upcoming plans:
~This Summer, we are mounting a production of INTO THE WOODS here at The Warner Grand! Auditions are June 7th & 8th, performances are August 15th, 16th, & 17th, and roles are open to ages 7-22. It is going to be a truly magical experience!
~We are also offering Summer acting & singing classes for ages 4-22, as well as fun worshops in areas like stage combat, costuming, and dance!
~This Winter we are tackling a radio version of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE!
In addition to the activities listed above, we also provide in-school and after-school performing arts programs to Title 1 schools in San Pedro.
