    Joy Ducree Gregory

    Director, Music Director

Joy is a producer, director, singer, actor, and spiritual consultant who has performed on numerous stages. Joy received a Broadway World nomination for Best Actress in a Professional Musical for her role as Caroline in Caroline, or Change. Although Joy has an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology, a Master of Divinity, and is a Certified Life Coach, her passions lie at the intersection of ministry and the performing arts.

  • Scott Wilkinson head shot

    Scott Wilkinson

    Assistant Director

Scott Wilkinson is a Georgia Tech PhD engineer who got his English credits in college by acting and still hasn’t given up on his dream to win an Oscar. As he says every time, this is his favorite cast ever, but this time he really means it. He is most proud of his two brilliant children and is thankful for his wife who puts up with this theater obsession.

  • Jess Tisdel head shot

    Jess Tisdel

    Costumes

Jess is thrilled to be costuming her second show at Theater 1548. Jess graduated with her BFA in Costume Design and Technology from Brenau, where she worked on the Gainesville Theater Alliance costume crew. Jess has been crafting for over 20 years and couldn’t stop even if she tried. This is Jess’s third time costuming Shrek The Musical, one step closer to her goal of 50.

  • Candice Morgan head shot

    Candice Morgan

    Stage Manager

Candice Morgan once stole hearts (and hairspray) as Ouiser in Steel Magnolias and later dug deep as “Grave Digger #2” in Hamlet. Offstage, she is a world-class plant assassin with a flawless record of turning greenery into compost. Candice thanks caffeine and sarcasm for their undying support.

  • Jessica Iovanella head shot

    Jessica Iovanella

    Lighting Design

Jessica has been a part of Theater 1548 since the day she appeared at the DUMC doors with little more than the clothes on her back and a quarter in her pocket. She has thrived within the church, where she now resides in the apartment above the sanctuary organ, as she continues to search for anyone who recognizes her photo or improbable name from the past.
