Like all good comedy “All in the Timing” is about the Truth. Yes Truth with a capital T. Our lives are made up of chance encounters and relationships long or brief. Why are you here now with these people? Any explanation is only speculation. The chain of causation is infinite. We don’t know how things will unfold. Are we trapped in some awful experiment or in the Garden of Eden? In the best of all possible worlds with the prospect of universal peace or in a metaphysical black hole? In an endless loop of questions that cannot be answered with people we barely know? In a coma remembering imagined glories? What runs through our minds on our first encounter with someone? Do the demands of our daily lives make any sense or are we just going through the motions to produce something we don’t understand? Does our desire to escape from reality lead to love or fantasy? Is there a pattern in the constantly changing rhythms of our daily tasks? Can we understand why things go wrong? Is death the final joke or do we get the last laugh? Through it all we only have our fellow travelers on the journey through absurdity. Put on your silly hat and buckle up it’s going to be a wild ride.
