Prince Charming, You're Late is a true tale of wanting and the need to fulfill your fantasy. Making the square peg fit in the round hole and thinking "It looks fine." 

I first read this script with the belief that this was a singular story about a gay man's crush. I thought, "Well, that's our audience, I guess." As time went on and the show took shape I found myself remembering that my 10th grade crush was on my choral teacher. My crush at age 22 was my brother's best friend. Then there was my co-worker, the bartender, the cop,the nurse giving me a flu shot, the one who said 'hello', the one who remembered my name. All of them. All unattainable. That is why we call them CRUSHES. And they are universal.
