Rachel Marlowe (Director, Choreographer) Rachel Marlowe is very grateful to be a part of the THS Theatre family. She first came to THS in the fall of 2010 as the choreographer for West Side Story. Rachel’s favorite memories from high school are from her days spent in the theatre, which led to her earning degrees in Theatre and Dance from Muhlenberg College. Rachel is grateful to the Tower Hill community for providing such a rich venue for students to learn the art of theatre, to the family of students who choose to devote their time to learning the craft, to Matt Kator for getting her lunches on Day 5, and her mom, sister, Christian, and all of the cats combined for showing her the meaning of unconditional love. “Give us more to see.”
Zerrin Agabigum Martin (Music Director) Zerrin Agabigum Martin is active as a conductor, performer and music educator. She has been the music director for several shows, including Little Shop of Horrors, and THS productions of Seussical and Anything Goes. Recent singing engagements include Handel’s Messiah, Copland's In the Beginning, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, Mozart’s Coronation Mass, Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu Nostri, and Bach’s St. Matthew Passion. An avid ensemble singer, she performs regularly with twice GRAMMY-nominated Seraphic Fire in Miami, True Concord Voices and Orchestra, and the Oregon Bach Festival Berwick Chorus. She has performed with the Norfolk Music Festival Chamber Choir, The Crossing, Westminster Choir, Westminster Kantorei, and the JSB Ensemble of the Internationale Bachakademie in Stuttgart, Germany. Zerrin would like to thank her husband, Ryan, for his continued love and support.
Brian Miller (Jack) Brian began his onstage career on stage in band in 5th grade. As a musician, he has played everywhere from Carnegie Hall to the German Zappanale Music Festival which sparked his natural love for the stage. With roots in music entertainment, he has transitioned into a member of the Tower Hill Theatre and has participated in two prior high school productions: Antigone and Anything Goes. He would like to thank his entire family, his lovely cat, his supportive friends, and all of his teachers for shaping him into the person he is today.
Julia Molin (Costume Designer) Julia, a junior, is thrilled to be working on her fifth production in Tower Hill’s Theatre Department. This is her first time designing costumes for a show, but she has worked as an assistant for costumer Amanda Wolfe numerous times in the past. She additionally assisted with costuming for the Delaware Shakespeare Theatre Festival’s production of Hamlet two summers ago. She would like to thank the theatre department for its support, Amanda Wolfe for her guidance, and her family.
Philip Nickel (Swift) Philip Nickel realized that he loved acting during his time performing in the eighth grade play. Philip Nickel acted in Antigone last year as Oedipus and has enjoyed being a part of All in the Timing. Words Words Words is one of his favorite performances to date and he looks forward to continuing his acting career in the Tower Hill Theatre Department.
Brandon Nitsche (Al) Brandon has been participating in theatre since his sophomore year in the spring production of You Can’t Take It With You. Since then, Brandon has managed to break a sword onstage in Antigone and worked with stage crew to help construct the set of Anything Goes. Brandon is excited to participate in the last two productions of his senior year, and gives many thanks to Darla Max for convincing him to join the Theatre Department his sophomore year.
Hudson Pepper (Young Man) Hudson was the Messenger in Antigone and was in the pit orchestra for Anything Goes. He is a runner and enjoys science and math. He would like to thank his parents, Mr. Scibilia, and his fellow cast members.
Becca Pettinaro (Jill): Becca started her theatre career the fall of her freshman year with Cabaret ’12 as the only the only freshman in the ensemble. That spring she was cast in her first musical Seussical the Musical, which was where her passion for musical theatre began. She continued on to do Cabaret ‘13 the next fall, You Can't Take it with You, Antigone, and then became dance captain for the fantastic Anything Goes. Becca hopes to pursue her passion for musical theatre in college next fall. She will deeply miss the family that is the Tower Hill Theatre Department, and is so grateful to Rachel Marlowe, Matthew Kator, Darla Max, and Trina Tjersland for opening the door to theatre, musical theatre, and making this department home.
Kylie Revill (Running Crew) was stage manager for last year's eighth-grade play: Reality, Really?. Kylie aims to continue growing in theater throughout high school. She thanks her mom, Mommom, and Poppop for giving up their time to help her always having faith in her.
Adam Reynolds (Lighting Designer, Master Electrician)- Adam is in the 11th grade and All in the Timing is his sixth producton at THS, and his third as Lighting Designer. Adam is also the Captain of the Tower Hill Swim Team and a member of the Tower Hill Baseball Team. He would like to thank his family for all their support.
Anna Reynolds (Waitress) Anna played the role of Pintrest in her eighth grade show. She has been participating in varsity sports since eighth grade. Anna is grateful for Ms. Marlowe and her parents for helping her in her theatrical endeavors.
Andrew Scibilia (Director) Mr. Scibilia is an Upper School English Teacher. This is his third year at Tower Hill. He would like to thank Alexandra, Luke, and Hudson for introducing him to theatre and teaching him "Unamunda" from "Universal Language," which he is currently using to annoy friends and family and to unite all the peoples of the world.
Kaitlyn Scott (Stage Manager, Set Designer) Kaitlyn has been with the Theater Department since her first day at Tower Hill. She has been a member of the stage crew since freshman year and took on the role of stage manager her sophomore year. As a senior, she is excited to make her debut as a set designer and looks forward to designing the spring show as well. She will sincerely miss the theater department and her cast and crew family, the two things that made Tower Hill her home away from home.
Luke Solacoff (Don) has been acting in shows for Tower Hill since 8th Grade, including playing Mr. DePinna in You Can't Take it With You and the Purser in Anything Goes . This will be his 6th Upper School performance. Luke has also taken a number of acting, stage crew, and directing courses offered through the school. He would like to thank his parents as well as Rachel Marlowe and Matthew Kator for supporting him.
Ben Spiro (Assistant Tecnical Director) Ben joined stagecrew the fall of his sophomore year and helped build the set of his first show, Comedy Combat. After learning about the basic stagecrew skills, Ben continued his involvement with You Cant Take it With You. He then began getting more involved with the theatre and started learning about the audio and visual aspects. As a junior, Ben ran crew for both Antigone and Anything Goes as his passion for the theatre grew. Now as a Senior, Ben continues his role in crew by working on All in the Timing and is excited to explore his new role of "ATD."
Jake Spruance (Ram´on) Jake developed an interest in theater during the 8th grade play and continued to expand on it in this production of All in the Timing. Jake hopes this play will open new doors for him during his Upper School career. He enjoys swimming for KAY and playing the trumpet outside of school. He would like to thank his parents for sticking to his ever-changing schedule, his teachers, and his friend Allen for helping him write this bio.
Leslie Sysko (Director) Mrs. Sysko was honored and delighted to collaborate with the theatre department. Mrs. Sysko would like to abandon third person point-of-view now to say thank you: to Mr. Kator and Ms. Marlowe for entrusting me with the complexity of this piece's Postmodern themes, to Becca, Brian, and Renée for working so well with me and with each other, and to the crew for making the impossible possible.
Alexis Wrease (Betty/Bell Ringer) has been involved with the Tower Hill Theater Department since freshman year when she took her first drama class. Since then she has been in three other productions. These shows include You Can’t Take It With You, Antigone, and Anything Goes. Alexis is looking forward to her continuous involvement with the Tower Hill Theater Department in her last two years at Tower Hill. She would like to thank her family, friends, and directors for their never-ending support.
Allen Wu (Bill) As a Chinese international student here at Tower Hill, Allen seizes every opportunity to try out new things, which includes All in the Timing. Allen sees part of himself in the character, Bill, and he hopes he can do a good interpretation of the show. He would like to thank his host family, the Britt’s, for sending him to every practice, his friend Ethan Yao for encouraging him to join the play, and last but not least, his friend Jake Spruance for including him in his bio.
Ethan Yao (Trotsky) Ethan Yao has been in the last two spring plays. These shows were You Take It With You, and Anything Goes. Ethan Yao thanks his family and friends.
Ariel Zhang (Woman 1) Ariel was a former ballet student before moving to Shanghai, China for two years. This is Ariel’s second year at Tower Hill and the third school production in which she has participated. She had the opportunity of being an ensemble member in Anything Goes during the 2014-2015 school year. Ariel would like to thank Rachel Marlowe and Zerrin Martin for their constant encouragement and advice to help Ariel develop her skills in theatre.
