Grace Brady is a Junior this year. She has participated in all of Trumans musicals and shows since 9th grade. She will be performing in the show Atlas Pit that Truman Drama is bringing to the International Thespian Festival in Nebraska later this year. She wants to thank her parents and especially her brother Nathan for encouraging her to do theatre.

    as Ellie Blake/Grandma Helene

Alyssa Gray is a freshman at Truman High School and she is playing the role of Ellie Blake. Despite it being her 1st lead role, she has had roles in (8th) The Addams Family, as Ancestor, (7th) Annie, as Annette the Maid, (6th) The Lion King, as Ed the Hyena, and (5th) Shrek as Guard/Duloc Member. Alyssa has loved the Truman Drama Program ever since seeing Rise on NBC and seeing Chicago, which was last year’s musical. Alyssa is beyond excited to be alongside one of her best friends, Aidan Kinniry, who is playing Adam. Alyssa would like to thank her mom, Denise Gray, on being her biggest fan and her biggest critic, and on never letting her give up on singing and acting, telling her even though her anxiety must be through the roof, always take risks and do something you never thought you’d do in a billion years, and “For putting up with me singing Heathers: the Musical songs at 5 in the morning when I’m getting ready for school.”

  • Starr McFadden head shot

    Starr McFadden

    as Katherine Blake

Star Nicole McFadden is delighted to be making her debut with Truman Theatre.  She has performed most recently with Downstage Center Dance where she has been studying dance since she was four years old. Star studies tap and modern dance. Her earliest memories of being onstage are sneakingonto the risers to perform dances in the Bristol Township 6th Grade Musical when she was in 3rdgrade because her father was the director. Like hercharacter in the show, Star enjoys baking and can often be found in the kitchen making a sweettreat for her family! Her chocolate chip cookies are spectacular! She is inspired by the musicals, “Wicked” and “SpongeBob Square Pants”. Star has played and then quit the flute, the drum, and softball! Finally finding her true love in music theatre, she hopes to continue in more performances at Truman in the future. She plans on studying music in college and one day being an inspirational music teacher.
