    Cessily is a native of Champaign. She's married with 3 children and a teacher at Centennial High School. Her most notable role is Toto in Central High School's 1998 production of "The Wiz" Cessily would like to thank, her husband, Omari, for being so patient and supportive and putting Deuce to bed, her mom for being Nia's taxi, and Garth for his role as baby Harlem's babysitter at rehearsal.

    Tanisha is an MFA student in acting at the U of I, and just launched PRETTY FIRE as a media brand. Recent credits:“The Mountaintop” at FaceOff Theatre in Kalamazoo, “Marcus or the Secret of Sweet” with Curious Theatre Co. and “Midsummers Night Dream” at Theatreworks in Denver. "To me the art and the artist are one. The art will speak to who it needs to. If you dig the version, follow me."

    Tabitha, the Lady in Blue, is extremely proud to be performing with Twin City Squared’s production of, For Colored Girls, in her theatrical debut. She lives in Champaign with her family and is a 6th grade teacher at Urbana Middle School. Tabitha would like to dedicate this performance to her loving husband Vic, who always encourages her to reach for her dreams. She would also like to thank all her family and friends who have supported her throughout this exciting endeavor.

    Shannon is returning to the stage after a 10 year hiatus.This is her second show on the stage at Parkland, where she appeared in “That Takes Ovaries” and in a production of the “Vagina Monologues” performed at the University of Illinois.Shannon is happily married to Jimmie Chatman III with three beautiful children. She wants to thank her family and friends for their support and encouragement. Shannon has had a blast working with great directors and a talented group of women.
