In the words of Jonathan Larson: “The opposite of war isn't peace, it's creation!”
Passion. Love. Determination. Three words that loosely describe the cast and crew of Rent, people that give their all everytime they set foot on stage. In times of uncertainty and hopelessness in the world, we as directors feel the need to express our absolute gratitude to this group of people who decided to step out from behind their laptops and transform their strife into this show that transmits messages of love, resilience and hope, and embraces each cast member as an individual with a back story that has shaped them into who they are today.
Leo, Romel, Warner, Tíos, without you this would have never been possible. We are forever thankful for your companionship and presence during the staging of this show. To the Eugene O’Neill Theater and it’s crew we thank you for hosting us and making our project come alive. UWCCR community, we made this for you in hopes of making you feel identified and motivated to keep on standing up for what you believe in. To our families, we are forever thankful for the support and joyful energy we received everytime we mentioned this project.

Pasión. Amor. Determinación. Tres palabras que describen al elenco y equipo de RENT, las personas que dan su todo cada vez que ponen un pie en el escenario. En tiempos de incertidumbre y desesperanza en el mundo, nosotros como directores sentimos la necesidad de expresar nuestra gratitud absoluta a este grupo de personas que decidieron salir de detrás de sus laptops y transformar sus luchas, en este espectáculo que transmite mensajes de amor, resiliencia y esperanza, y abraza a cada miembro del reparto como individuo con una historia de fondo que los ha llevado a ser quienes son ahora.
Leo, Romel, Warner, tíos, sin ustedes esto nunca hubiera sido posible. Estamos por siempre agradecidos por su acompañamiento y paciencia incondicional durante el proceso de la puesta en escena de este espectáculo. Para el teatro Eugene O'Neill y su equipo les agradecemos por recibirnos y hacer que nuestro proyecto una realidad. Comunidad UWCCR, hemos hecho esto para ustedes con la esperanza de hacer que se sientan identificados y motivados para seguir luchando por lo que creen. A nuestras familias, estamos eternamente agradecidos por el apoyo y la energía gozosa que recibimos cada vez que mencionamos este proyecto.
